Coming Together : The Erotic Cocktail

We are seeking submissions of erotic fiction, poetry, and art from established professionals as well as amateur/up-and-coming authors, poets, and artists. Our current publishing focus is on erotic fiction of 5,000 to 20,000 words to release as individual ebooks under one of our many charity lines. We will consider both shorter and longer submissions as well. However, submissions of under 5,000 words will only be released as part of an anthology/bundle. Erotic fiction is our trademark, but we will consider submissions in any genre.

Since its debut in 2005, Coming Together has donated thousands of dollars to dozens of charities. It has published numerous single- and multi-author anthologies in both ebook and print as well as novella-length single titles and libido-stirring appetizers. All the work is donated, as is all the revenue. Coming Together has garnered much critical acclaim, won many awards, and set the publishing industry standard for "doing good while being bad." Coming Together is currently a registered "voluntary nonprofit association" on its slow-but-steady way to becoming a 501(c)(3).

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

We are looking for fresh, original fiction, poetry, and artwork.

All pairings & relationship dynamics are welcome, from traditional erotic romance to down-and-dirty wank-worthy stroke. If it contains a positive portrayal of an illegal activity, however, Coming Together is not interested.

Fiction depicting sex between consenting adult sentient beings -- any consenting adult sentient beings (including aliens and shifters) -- is welcome. That includes incest, step-cest, twincest, shifter sex, etc. It also includes BDSM, rape fantasies, and other taboo/fetish material.

"Barely legal" fiction is also welcome. Legal is legal. Age-related role play is also legal.

A "happily ever after" ending is not required. Coming Together wants erotic, not formulaic, material.

Explicit sex is not required. Eroticism is about far more than Tab A into Slot B.

Additional guidelines may exist based upon the theme of the collection/line.

PLEASE, no simultaneous submissions!

Reprints are welcome, provided that the submitter holds the rights.

Exclusivity is not required.

THE NITTY GRITTY:

Proof all work prior to submission. That means it's not only spell checked, but properly punctuated and thoroughly scanned for homophonic errors (its/it's, there/their/they've, your/you're, etc.)

12pt Times New Roman font, double spaced

Indent paragraphs, and do not include an extra line between paragraphs

At the top of the file, include your pen name, story word count, a brief synopsis, a promo blurb, and your website/blog URLs. You may also include a BRIEF (150-word) bio.

If your work is selected for publication, you will be required to sign a publishing agreement which contains your legal name and mailing address. A sample of Coming Together's publication agreement can be found HERE.
